Roaringwater Bay, Horse island and Clear Island

Roaringwater Bay is a ragged bay in the very south-west of County Cork, with the Mizen Head peninsula to the north. Within the bay are many pretty islands, amongst those known as Carbery's Hundred Isles.

The little village of Ballydehob stands at the northern head of the bay, the first of three creeks entering the bay.

Along the shore of Roaringwater Bay are several coves and bays such as Long Island Bay on the north shore in which lies Long Island.
