Wasp Lake is a lake to the north of Ellerbeck Peak, at approximately 1,470 feet above sea level on South Georgia.

The lake is named in association with Ellerbeck Peak: Lieutenant Commander John Anthony Ellerbeck, DSC, RN (b. 1943), was the pilot in command of the Wasp Helicopter from HMS Endurance who attacked and disabled the Argentine submarine Santa Fe during the retaking of Grytviken and Leith Harbour on 25 April 1982.
