Piñero Peak is the highest point of Piñero Island, a little island off the Loubet Coast of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory. Its summit is at 1,247 feet above sea level. It is named after the island, which is itself named after an Argentine politician to whom Charcot, the island's discoverer, was grateful.
The peak was used as a reference point during hydrographic survey of the area by a Royal Navy Hydrographic Survey Unit from HMS Endurance in 1976-77, and that survey named it, in association with the island.
