Whissendine and its parish church, Rutland

Whissendine

Whissendine is a village in Rutland, north-west of the county town, Oakham.

The village has two pubs, a church and a windmill. Whissendine Windmill was built in 1809 and returned to milling in September 2006.

The parish church is St Andrew's, built in the 13th century and with a 14th-century tower. (Read more)
