Aberdaron

Aberdaron is a village at the western tip of the Llŷn Peninsula in Caernarfonshire, thirty-three miles south-west of Caernarfon. This village is sometimes referred to as the 'Land's End of Wales'.

Aberdaron was the last rest stop for pilgrims heading to Bardsey Island, the legendary 'island of 20,000 saints', and in modern times became known for the lyric poet R S Thomas, who was vicar of the parish. (Read more)
