Gurney Point is a headland on the east coast of George VI Sound between Bertram Glacier and Ryder Glacier. It is part of Palmer Land in the British Antarctic Territory.

The headland was photographed from the air by Ellsworth on 23 November 1935, and roughly mapped from the air photographs. It was surveyed from the ground by the British Graham Land Expedition in October 1936 and resurveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Stonington Island in 1948-49. The point is named after The Rev. Norman Arthur Gurney (1912-80), member of the British Graham Land Expedition who served as a sailor in the expedition ship Penola.
