St Leonards is a village in south-western Hampshire, on the A31 road that heads out of Ringwood to the east, and hard by the border of Dorset to the west, marked here by the Moors River. To the south is the Bournemouth-Poole conurbation.

St Leonards is adjacent to St Ives (to the east) and Ashley Heath (to the north) and effectively all of a piece with them. The St Leonards and St Ives civil parish had a population of 6,672 recorded in 2001.
