Pentire is a small village in Caernarfonshire, on the A4244 and due south of Bangor. It is inland in Arfon, the coastal plain of Caernarfonshire, just before the mounatins of Snowdonia begin to rise.

Fine farming country, Pentir is far enough from the great trunk routes of the A5 and A55 to have no great towns next to it, though close enough to Bangor and Caernarfon for convenience.
