East Clyne is a minor hamlet in the south-east of Sutherland, at the foot of Socach Hill and looking onto the coastal plan, a miles and a half north of the coastal village of Brora.

Its sister hamlet, West Clyne, is a mile to the west. Another, Clynelish, is just to the south-east.
