Melvich Bay

Melvich Bay is a small, sheltered bay on the north coast of Sutherland, and thus of Great Britain, close by the border of Caithness. The shoreline of the bay has a broad, sandy beach, turning to shingle beneath the western headland, where there is a pier serving the village of Portskerra on the headland.

The village of Melvich stands on its shore, and the Halladale River empties into the bay by the village.
