George Nympton, otherwise known as Nymet St George is a small village in Devon, just to the north of the River Mole, at a meeting of lanes two miles south-west of South Moulton.

The parish church is St George’s, from which dedication the parish and he village take their distinct name. There is one pub, the Castle Inn

This is one of a series of 'Nympton' parishes in the area, including King's Nympton, Queen's Nympton and Bishop's Nympton. They are named after the river, which was formerly known as the Nymet.
