Brent Hill stands in the south of Dartmoor in Devon, just north of the village of South Brent in the south of the county, and reaching 1,020 feet above sea level at its summit, which is marked with a trig pillar.
The River Avon runs below the hill’s western slopes, down to South Brent. The southern slope is part of Beara Common.
The hill is the site of an Iron Age hill fort. The fort occupies the summit of the hill.[1]
