Uxbridge Uxbridge is a town at the very western border of Middlesex. It is a commuter town, at the end of the Uxbridge Branch of the Metropolitan Line. The landscape upon which Uxbridge was established shows the form of the land in the Mesolithic era, when it was covered by oak and elm trees, as the remaining green space of the town still is. Uxbridge has swollen with the adjacent conurbation and is a significant retail and commercial centre. (Read more)
