Long Mynd

The Long Mynd is a long hill ridge in Shropshire, amongst the Shropshire Hills, ten miles south of the county town, Shrewsbury. The form of the hill is a grand example of the ridge formations found in western Shropshire, seven miles long and a maximum of three miles wide but mostly far narrower.
