Ashmansworthy is a tiny village in north-western Devon, to the south of Woolfardisworthy, in the corner of the county which stands into the sea at Hartland Point; the Hartland Hundred. It stands just north of the River Torridge; still a young river at this point.

The village is recorded in the Domesday Book.[1]
