Monolith Lake, which is also known as Abernethy Flats is a frozen lake on James Ross Island, off the east coast of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory.

The lake is found approximately a mile and a half north-west of the island's Stickle Ridge. Massive blocks of volcanic berrcia lie on the south-west side of the lake, the tallest of which is approx. forty feet high, and these give the lake its name.
