Abbotrule

Abbotrule is a hamlet in Roxburghshire on the Rule Water, close by tthe Wauchope Forest. It was once part of the Abbotrule Estate.

The church here, now in ruins, belonged to Jedburgh Abbey from the 13th century until the Reformation. (Read more)
