River Nevern

The River Nevern flows for eleven through northern Pembrokeshire, reaching the sea in St George's Channel at Newport.

The pretty village of Nevern stands beside the river just above Newport, and here is the lowest bridge on the river. Below Nevern the river becomes tidal. Newport's beaches are along the south bank of the tidal river. (Read more)
