St Mary's Loch, Selkirkshire

St Mary's Loch

St Mary's Loch is a freshwater loch on the border of Peeblesshire with Selkirkshire, and is the largest natural loch in either county. It may be found lying between Selkirk and Moffat, by the A708.

The loch is three miles long and just over half a mile wide, fed by the Megget Water, and is the source of the Yarrow Water. (Read more)
