Linslade

Linslade is a little town in Buckinghamshire, on the west bank of the River Ouzel, which forms the border here with Bedfordshire. It abuts the town of Leighton Buzzard in the latter county.

The original Linslade stood further north than the modern town, and survives today as the hamlet of Old Linslade. The town moved southwards during the 1840s, after the construction of the Grand Union Canal and railway line. (Read more)
