Great Burdon is a village in County Durham, to the north-east of Darlington, on the A1150.

The village stands at the very edge of the townscape of Darlington, barely separated from it by the River Skerne. To the north, upstream on the Skerne, is Barmpton, and to the east is Sadberghe.
