The Ballylumford Dolmen is better known to locals as the Druid's Altar.[1] Historical artefacts have been recovered by archaeologists from under the dolmen, which would appear to have stood over a burial chamber of ancient times. It is situated on the road between Mill Bay and Ballylumford.[2]
