Little Bampton is a village in Cumberland, six miles outside the market town of Wigton and eight miles west of the county town, Carlisle.

The village itself comprises approximately 40 houses, some dating back to the 18th century. There is no village church nor village hall; its main meeting place is the pub, called 'The Tam O'Shanter'
