Boyle Farm Island

Boyle Farm Island is an island in the River Thames at Thames Ditton in Surrey. It is the second largest of the three islands in the Thames here. It contains a single house, home to just one family. It is directly opposite the historic mansion of Boyle Farm, which is now known as the Home of Compassion. Whereas its larger partner, Thames Ditton Island forms part of Middlesex, Boyle Farm Island belongs to Surrey, with the tiny islet of Swan Island shared between the counties.
