St Mary's Island from upstream.

St Mary's Island is a tiny island in the River Thames belonging to Oxfordshire. It has a size of about 150 yds by 50 yds.[1] [2]

The island is on the reach above Caversham Lock on the western outskirts of the town of Reading, Berkshire. It liess close in to the northern bank in an area called The Fishery and is unpopulated.
