Porchfield is a village on the north coast of the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, facing the mainland of the county. It is to be found between Cowes and Yarmouth, four miles southwest of Cowes. It stands in the northwest of the island.
Porchfield has a village hall, but the nearest church is the Church of the Holy Spirit, in Newtown.[1]
The village pub is "The Sportsman's Rest".[2]
There are two bed and breakfasts in Porchfield. Colemans Animal Farm in Porchfield was a dairy farm from 1558 until the 1990s, when it was transformed into a family attraction.[3]
