Broughton is a hamlet of just a grand house, Broughton Hall and its attendant cottages, in northern Staffordshire, two miles south-east of Loggerheads. Half a mile up the road is a hamlet named Broughton Folly.

Though the village here has declined and vanished, it retains its seventeenth century church, St Peter’s, beside the main road.
