Dores is a village and parish in Inverness-shire, located on the south shore of Loch Ness, 7½ miles south-west of the city of Inverness. The parish is about 20 miles in length, and three or four in breadth. It is bounded on the east, by the parish of Daviot and Dunlichity; on the west, by Loch Ness; on the north, by the parish of Inverness and Bona; on the south, by Boleskine and Abertarff.

The annual RockNess music festival takes place in fields to the north of the village.
