Towards Hingston Down

Hingston Down is a minor hill just to the east of Moretonhampstead in Devon, capped (as are many Dartmoor hills) with a jumbled granite cap, the Hingston Rocks. The B3212 road form Moretonhampstead to Exeter wriggles round the down.

A more famous Hingston Down is found in eastern Cornwall.
