Chawley is a hamlet in Berkshire. It is close to the River Thames and has grown to serve as an outer suburb of Oxford, though physically separated form the city. Chawley links Cumnor to the west with the suburban village of Cumnor Hill, which is part of a small clump of Berkshire villages developed west of the city, with Botley and Dean Court.
