Camrose is a village, and parish in the Hundred of Roose, Pembrokeshire. The parish includes the village of Lambston.

Description

The name is an anglicization of the Welsh-language Camros, meaning "crooked" or "broken moor".[1] The village contains a substantial Norman motte,[2] which is often referred to as a "Landsker castle" although it lies far to the south of that that linguistic boundary.

The parish church is dedicated to the 6th-century Breton prince and Welsh saint Ismael.[3] and is a grade II* listed building. [4]

Football Club

The village football team plays its home matches at Folly Fields at the northern edge of the village, and is managed by Jamie Gilderdale.
