Brampton is a small village in Norfolk which lies in the Bure Valley, east of Aylsham.

The parish church, St Peter, is one of 124 existing round-tower churches in Norfolk.

Although now one of the smallest communities in Norfolk it has a rich history. In particular it was the site of a Roman manufacturing centre from where goods were exported by boat along the river Bure. In excavations in the 1960s evidence of a bath house was found along with many kilns.

The village sign reflects the Roman past and depicts a double-headed fish copied from a Roman brooch found some years ago that can now be seen in the Norwich museum. The village sign depicts the name Bramtuna to reflect its history.
