Bourne Mill is a lovely watermill in Essex, found in the south of Colchester sitting on a brook which soon after runs int the River Colne. The mill is owned and managed by the National Trust.

Bourne Mill is a delightful piece of late Elizabethan playfulness; it was not built as a mill but as a little house for banquets. It is adorned with Elizabethan Dutch gables. It was converted into a mill in the 19th century and still has a working waterwheel, which was originally used for milling flour.

The Mill is set in tranquil grounds next to a millpond and a bubbling stream.
