Hope Place was a small settlement in Lafonia in East Falkland, now abandoned.

The settlement was established in 1846 by Samuel Lafone, a British merchant operating out of Montevideo from whom Lafonia is named. The settlement stood in Lafonia on the south shores of Brenton Loch and in its day it was mainly populated by gauchos brought in from South America.[1]
