Smallford is a hamlet in Hertfordshire, sitting uncomfortably between Hatfield and St Albans, along the A1057. The two towns reach across towards each other along the road, with barely a green gap either side of Smallford.

Smallfield was served by Smallford railway station on the Hatfield and St Albans Railway, but the track has long since been pulled up and its course has become a footpath, called the Alban Way.

An Oaklands College campus is located at Smallford.
