Carnach is a remote hamlet in Cromartyshire, on the north west shore of Little Loch Broom. It is immediately east of Scoraig; a lochside hamlet equally inaccessible and scattered, so that the two are barely distiniguishable.

The hamlet sits on the narrow peninsula (split between Cromartyshire and Ross-shire) between Little Loch Broom to the south and Annat Bay to the north. It is only accessible by boat from the Badluarach jetty, or an eight-mile walk from the village of Badrallach to the east. Ullapool is located across Loch Broom.
