South Stack

South Stack is an island lying just off Holy Island, Anglesey. On it stands one of the most spectacular lighthouses on this coast, which may be reached by way of a chin-link bridge.

The island is part of Anglesey's rugged western coast, and it forms the westernmost point of the county. The island and the cliffs of the coast facing it are popular with birdwatchers as birds rare elsewhere may be found playing here. (Read more)
