Laeca Burn is a stream in north-eastern Aberdeenshire, on the county's broad, fertile coastal plain, running south to join the Water of Cruden (which enters the sea soon after at Cruden Bay).
There are numerous archaeological sites in the Laeca Burn watershed, "especially on the eastern side of Laeca Burn", where Catto Long Barrow, or Cairn Catto is found.[1]
