West Cowick is a village in the West Riding of Yorkshire, approximately a mile southeast of the little town of Snaith and just to the south of the A1041 road and north of the M62 motorway. Snaith, West Cowick and East Cowick form together a civil parish known as Snaith and Cowick.
To the east of the village is the late 17th-century Grade I listed Cowick Hall[1] once the seat of the Viscounts Downe and now the headquarters of Croda International.
