Information

The Camp Viaduct, also known as the Ferniegair Viaduct is a two-track railway viaduct carrying the railway over the River Clyde just south of Motherwell, on the line to Hamilton, in Lanarkshire.

The viaduct was opened in 1868 on the Lesmahagow Railway, replacing an earlier single-track viaduct built in 1856 which was failing structurally. At the north-east end of the viaduct stood Camp Colliery Viaduct, while on the south-west was Ross Junction.
