Near the summit of Beinn Dearg

The Forest of Glenartney is a bare, hilly area of south-western Perthshire between Glen Artney to the south, which carries the Water of Ruchill to join the Earn, and Loch Earn to the north. Mountains in the Forest include Beinn Dearg (2,316 feet) and Mòr Bheinn (2,100 feet).

At its western edge of Ben Vorlich, a mountain of 3,228 feet, and thus a munro. The mountain is counted as part of the 'Crieff and Loch Earn Hills'.
