Great Stoke is a suburb of the city of Bristol, in the south of Gloucestershire, beside Stoke Gifford, at the north-eastern edge of the conurbation.

The M4 motorway slices along the eastern edge of Great Stoke, and has its junction with the short M32 motorway into Bristol close by.
