Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport is in western Middlesex. Today the major airport serving London and its region, it was built as a modest aerodrome on the site of the former hamlet of Heath Row, long since demolished.

Heathrow is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom and the third busiest airport in the world (as of 2011) in terms of total passenger traffic, handling more international passengers than any other airport around the globe.
