Bradbourne is a village in Derbyshire. The village is in the southern part of the Peak District (just outside the National Park), 5 miles north of Ashbourne.

Bradbourne is one of the Thankful Villages, which is to say those very few which suffered no losses during First World War. It is the only such village in Derbyshire. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 116.

Bradbourne Hall is a 17th-century mansion house.

History

Bradbourne is listed in the Domesday Book as belonging to Henry de Ferrers and being worth thirty shillings.[1]
