Llanthewy Rytherch is a village and ancient parish in Monmouthshire, five miles east of Abergavenny. It forms part of the Abergavenny Hundred.
History
The township of Llanthewy Rytherch grew around the small llan, or monastic cell named after St. David. The churchyard has a very old Yew tree, which may be many centuries old [1]. A new priest Fr John Humphries and his wife Mary arrived in May 2012. There are now more regular services at St Davids church. the congregation is growing both in numbers and diversity.
