Loch Avon

Loch Avon is one of Scotland's remotest lochs, in the very tail-end of Banffshire within the Cairngorms.

The loch, at the head of Glen Avon, is ringed by the slopes of some of Britain's highest mountains: Cairn Gorm and Ben Macdhui. (Read more)
