West Grimstead

Grimstead is a civil parish on the River Dun in Wiltshire, to the south-east of Salisbury. Its settlements are the villages of East Grimstead and West Grimstead. It was created in 1934, comprising the ancient parish of West Grimstead, together with the chapelry of East Grimstead in the ancient parish of West Dean.

The 2001 census recorded a parish population of 518,[1] increasing to 534 at the 2011 census.[2]
