Sandau Nunatak is the southernmost of the Steeple Peaks, a small range of hills which stretched toawards the shore of George VI Sound in Palmer Land, in the British Antarctic Territory. The hill rises to about 1,300 feet.
This peak was named after Charles L. Sandau of the United States Navy, cook at "Palmer Station" over the winter of 1973.
