Blackadder WaterThe Blackadder Water is a river in Berwickshire, a tributary of the Whiteadder Water forming part of the River Tweed system. It rises in the Harecleugh Forest plantation just south of the Twin Law cairns, north of Westruther, swallowing many burns off Lammermuir before reaching Greenlaw, then meandering through the Merse to fall into the Whiteadder Water at Allanton, where once stood Blackadder House.
