Teesquay Millennium Footbridge, also referred to as the Millennium Bridge, is a footbridge crossing east-west over the River Tees between Stockton-on-Tees high street in County Durham and Thornaby-on-Tees opposite it in the North Riding of Yorkshire. The Yorkshire end of the bridge is in the Teesdale Business Park.

The bridge crosses the river and the A1035 Riverside Road. The Teesdale Way runs beneath it on the Durham bank.

Up-river on Castlegate Quay by the western side of the bridge there is the Castlegate Quay Watersports Centre.

Design

The bridge has a cable-stayed design.[1] It has a 130-foot 'A' frame pylon/mast with fanned cables[2] and a total span of 502 feet.

The walkway is 9 feet wide,, narrowing to 7 feet on the extension over Riverside Road to the Castlegate Centre.[3]
